We have been in business for just over 5 years yet we have over 40 clients with our law firm clients ranging in size from 50 to 2000+ staff covering regional, city and international geography. Here is a list of some of the work we have already undertaken / are undertaking :

Wide Gamut Review / planning / mentoring
Lights-On was called in to conduct a review of the IT people, process and technology for a top 200 law firm to determine if the IT set-up was equipped to support the growth plans of the Firm. As a result of this review we were retained to develop a tactical project road-map and provide an on-going coaching and mentoring service to the IT leadership.

Strategic Review & Interim Managment

Lights-On was called in to conduct a review of the IT position for a top 100 law firm in Scotland and then to provide interim management to run the department. As part of the interim management of the IT department we were engaged to recruit a new senior IT leader as well as develop a new IT structure and recruit a new technical role. We also assisted in procuring a new Voice over IP managed service for the Firm to replace their aging telephony infrastructure.

Remote Access Solutions
Lights-On provided practical help and advice to a law firm around operational issues they were experiencing with their remote access solutions; taking a pragmatic approach, carefully reviewing each installation and determining the ‘pinch points’ we were able to propose a number of changes which resolved the problems.

Network Readiness
Lights-On has advised a client on the readiness of their local and wide area networks to implement IP telephony and converged data, voice and video networks. This was used to undertake focused remedial actions, procure new services and reduce the business risks around the implementation of new technology.
